Small outdoor round tables have the advantage of being practical and versatile. You can place 1 to 4 people around a round garden table of 80cm, 90cm or even 100cm in diameter. A 60cm diameter round table will allow you to seat 2 outdoor chairs. This format is ideal for balcony outdoor tables, small terraces or restaurants. A round outdoor table of 120cm can accommodate 6 to 7 people.

Square outdoor tables: compact and modular

Square outdoor tables are perfect for your terrace, balcony, or even a professional project. For square garden tables of 60, 65, 70 or 80 cm: we recommend placing only 2 outdoor chairs to ensure comfort while dining. You can seat 4 people around an 80cm square table if the goal is simply to have a drink or an aperitif. Small or large rectangular outdoor tables for terraces

Rectangular garden tables are the most suitable if you want to host a large number of guests. The smallest rectangular outdoor table by Diiiz measures 120x60cm and can already seat up to 4 people. The space between guests around your outdoor table

For a friendly and comfortable atmosphere, it is not necessary to place your guests too close together. It is recommended to provide at least 60cm of space per guest around your outdoor table. You also need to consider the width of your outdoor chairs, as this determines how much space they will take.

If you want to seat more people at the table, it will be preferable to choose outdoor chairs without armrests, as they are more compact. Outdoor chairs with armrests are usually wider.

Beyond the space needed for your guests, also think about your own circulation space! You will probably go back and forth between your outdoor dining area and your kitchen.
